Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss was born July 23rd, 1971 in Decatur, Illinois. LeAnn Kymes and she were two of the youngest winners of the Grammy Award. Alison Maria Krauss is an American singer-songwriter and bluegrass country musician. Her birth date was July 23, 1971. Her age was just teen when she first entered the music scene winning local competitions as early as 10 years of age and recording her debut album at 14 years old. She signed with Rounder Records in 1985 and recorded her first self-titled album on the label in the year 1987. In addition, she was invited to the band Alison Krauss Union Station where she continues to perform. Later, in 1989, her first solo album came out in conjunction with the band.
