Alia Shawkat has been a television actress for more than 20 decades. The actress was born on 18th April 1989 in Riverside California. Maeby funke, from Fox's Arrested Development. This role earned her TV Land Future Classic Award. Shawkat was a part of Whip It along with Ellen Page. Shawkat played Hannah in the film from 2001 until 2004 in State of Grace. Shawkat played Maeby Funke for the entirety of Arrested Development's run between 2003 and 2018, as part of its regular cast. Shawkat received praise for Shawkat's performance in the show. Brian M. Palmer, a pop-culture critic and commentator said that Shawkat was one of the most brilliant stars in a series populated exclusively by bright stars. Shawkat revealed to the club that, in the year 2010, a lot of her first experiences as an actress occurred on Arrested development: Mitch Hurwitz was my father figure. It was a pleasure to have him around because I think my understanding of comedy was able develop really well over this period. In 2009 Shawkat made an appearance as a character in Whip It co-star Har Mar Superstar's music videos for Tall Boy which also featured Eva Mendes and Eric Wareheim. Shawkat Har Mar, Ellen Page and Whip it co-stars produced and co-wrote a show for HBO named Stitch N Bitch in October 2009. Alice Braga also portrayed the role as Teresa Mendoza in the crime drama thriller television show Queen of the South (2016-2021). The actress received plenty of accolades and awards for her role.
