Angela Gossow Urach
Angela Gossow grew up in Cologne alongside three other siblings. They divorced her parents when she was just 17 years old. The company they owned failed and caused further financial problems. Bulimia and anorexic eating made her a victim. Concerning her decision to resign in the role of singer for ARCH ENEMY, Gossow explained that there's the right time and the proper place for every thing. The whole thing began in 1991. I was simply losing the joy to be doing this living a life out on the road. Instead of feigning it I quit, I decided to stop. The group was initially fronted Johan Liiva, who was later succeeded by German vocalist Angela Gossow. In 1986, Australian vocalist John Farnham recorded the song "You're The Voice". Arch Enemy is a band which deserves to be praised.
