Sharp learned to play the clarinet, piano, and cello in the Hochstein School of Music in Rochester. The Boston Conservatory offered her grants for her theatre classes at her school. Cum Laude graduated with a B.F.A. Sharp's initial focus was on the stage. Sharp played in The Broadway National Tour of Carousel. Other theatrical shows include Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin', Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Sharp was a co-reader with writer August Wilson himself. Sharp has other ideas that she is working on as well as her productions for stage and screen. Sharp is developing her first studio album. Sharp she is frequently in front or behind camera and in the recording studio, is a fitness enthusiast. Sharp studies Krav Maga as well as boxing. Sharp likes to play piano, walk and go on a lengthy road trips. Sharp lives in Los Angeles.
